Seang Chanheng Hands over 50 Hectares of Land to End Land Dispute

KANDAL: The land dispute between Sieng Chanheng and Hun Bunthoeun and Hieu Lon in Tuol Sala village, Saang Phnom commune, Saang district, Kandal province was finally resolved on Monday, 23 January 2023.

The land dispute ended after the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction convened a meeting between both parties to try and resolve the dispute. The two sides agreed to end the dispute by withdrawing their complaints from all institutions and courts, and all protection cases for a maximum of two weeks from the date of signing this agreement.

Seang Chanheng agreed to hand over 50 hectares of disputed land in Tuol Sala village, Saang Phnom commune, Saang district, Kandal province to Hun Bunthoeun and Hieu Lon, with the two individuals also agreeing to accept the land.
